Technical level course in engineering. Level 3 math's (AS or Core) as appropriate, tutorial, work experience in a relevant institution, e.g. Engineering Design, Telecommunications etc, preparation for employment in an appropriate Engineering related career. Students receive classroom based tuition using the latest resources and have an opportunity to explore and research aspects of engineering. Engineering related enrichment will involve lectures from a local university about how to get in to an appropriate Engineering related undergraduate program, work shadowing and industry days. Course Outcomes Level 3 qualification/progression opportunities. Progression Most young people studying on the Engineering study program progress to university to study Aeronautical, Chemical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical engineering. The Engineering study program has been designed to give you an even better chance of getting into the university of their choice through the addition of specific activities. These will be augmented with HE talks, visits and workshops at the end of the first year of study.
