Course summary

You will gain valuable experience as a trainee childcare worker, building up practical skills and gaining confidence when working with children. You will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check. You will also fulfill 750 hours on placement and complete two controlled assessments. To gain this you will be required to gain experience in 3 age groups. Study units include: -15 units are required for full Diploma -Play and learning in children's education -Curriculum frameworks -Partnership with parents -Child development 0-16years -Keeping children safe -Child observations -Cultural diversity
