Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour. Students examine how behaviour is studied and how psychologists test their hypotheses. As well as exploring and evaluating a range of psychological research, we also explore the different theories and debates that still shape and influence psychology today. There is a significant amount of mathematics in Psychology. Students will be expected to carry out research and experiments.
• 5 pass grades at GCSE • 5+ English GCSE • 5+ in Mathematics GCSE • 4+ in Additional or Core Science GCSE • Students do not need to have studied Psychology but it is desirable.
