Course summary

For students interested in tourism, events and business and who wish to pursue a career in the industry this is the ideal course. It provides the perfect platform to move on to the BTEC Level 3 Diploma. A range of topics will be covered in this course at Barnet and Southgate College to give a basic grounding in the travel and tourism business. Among these are: an introduction to the travel and tourism industry, an introduction to tourist destinations, marketing, business accounting and human resource management.
