Course summary
A Level Further Mathematics builds on your love of mathematics, algebra and problem solving, expanding beyond the standard Math's curriculum. You will learn about new and intriguing topics such as imaginary numbers, matrices, groups and number theory as well as extend your knowledge of calculus and coordinate geometry.

- Grade 5 or above in GCSE English Language - Grade 8 or above in GCSE Math's - Three further GCSEs at grade 4 or above If you wish to study 4 A Levels, you will need 7 GCSEs at grade 7 or above, including two at grade 8. All applicants must have an interview to confirm that A Levels are suitable for them.

Assessment
Assessment is by examination at the end of the course. There will be two exams on the core aspects of the course and two exams on further pure mathematics.
