Art and Design (Fine Art)

Course summary

Art & Design will be an exploration of practical and critical/contextual work through a range of 2D and/or 3D processes and mediums. By studying A-Level Art, you can develop and express your creativity and ideas through a range of artistic areas and media including fine art, graphic communication, textile design and photography. You will have the chance to nurture more transferable skills, which are valued in a whole range of sectors. You will gain all-round problem-solving skills, visual analysis, the ability to find creative solutions and make critical judgements. Creative thinking is a highly sought-after skill in most industries and professions.
