Course summary

Geography will allow you to develop a wide range of literacy, numeracy, problem solving and GIS skills which can lead to careers in environmental organisations such as National Parks and the Environment Agency, travel, transportation and insurance industries, international charities and organisations using GIS, such as the Army, the meteorological office, government agencies, teaching and retail businesses. Due to cross curricular links with literacy and numeracy, many universities appreciate the skills developed at A-Level and is seen as a highly regarded academic qualification. Geography is also one of the Russell Group’s university choice of subjects
