Chemistry is a practical subject and at UAI, students have the opportunity to experience it as it would be used in the real world. Students gain skills including investigating, observing, drawing conclusions and problem solving through the use of mathematical skills. We encourage our students to develop enquiring minds from KS3 to KS5 and use practical experience to link theory to practice in the real world. Our intent is to produce young women who are able to apply their knowledge and demonstrate a deep appreciation to contribute to sustainable development through awareness of our environment and become pioneers in STEM, living out the Ursuline values.

Any causes for concern are flagged early so that effective intervention strategies can be implemented whenever student achievement is falling below expectations.
