This includes: • Detail regarding the biochemistry of cell processes. • Transport and exchange within physiological processes, including circulation and gas exchange in a wide variety of organisms. • Study of the biochemistry of respiration and photosynthesis. • How respiration and photosynthesis lead to energy transfers in individual organisms and the wider environment. • An in-depth study of genetics and how this links to evolution. • How the study of genetics is driving treatments of disease.
