Starting From September 2017 all Sixth Form students in Further Maths will sit the new 2 year A Level that will consist of Further Pure Maths and two other specialisms which will be decided on by the individual site. Possible Modules include Further Statistics, Further Mechanics, Further Pure and Decision Maths. The Further Maths exam remains modular and the choice of modules will reflect the particular teaching strengths of the individual academies.
Maths grade - 8 Relevant subject - At least a grade 8 at GCS A minimum of seven grade 5s in full course GCSE subjects. Must also be doing Maths A Level
All external assessment will be at the end of Year 13 and will consist of three 2-hour papers
