This course will offer you the opportunity to develop the conceptual, technical and critical skills required to succeed in the creative industries. You will become an innovative and experimental artist/maker and critical thinker. You will be encouraged to explore innovative ways of using a range of media and processes, including print-making, sculpture, photography and time-based media. You can expect to: Build an individualized portfolio of wide ranging practical work Explore a variety of media and develop an ability to express observations and ideas in visual form Participate in trips to galleries and work with professional artists Develop analytical skills and knowledge of critical and contemporary issues in Art and Design The course is designed to be flexible and suit the needs of the individual student.
