Course summary

Why study Level 3 Cambridge Technical? The qualifications aim to develop your students’ knowledge, understanding and skills of the principles of IT and Global Information Systems. Your students will gain an insight into the IT sector as they investigate the pace of technological change, IT infrastructure, the flow of information on a global scale, and the importance of legal and security considerations. Designed in collaboration with experts spanning the breadth of the sector, the Level 3 Cambridge Technical in IT focus on the requirements that today’s universities and employers demand. What can I expect? Cambridge Technical Introductory Diploma in IT • 360 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) – equivalent to one A level in terms of size. • 2 x 90 and 3 x 60 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) units – two of which are mandatory externally examined units and a choice of three further units which are centre-assessed and moderated by OCR.
