For learners who want to work as an electrician in the building services industry. This qualification does not make candidates fully qualified electricians but provides underpinning knowlege that will contribute to employment or further training for completion of NVQ. Study methods The course will be taught through a range of varied activities including classroom based theory sessions and skills workshops to develop the necessary installation skills and experience.
Successful completion of a Level 2 qualification in Electrotechnical services and GCSEs at grades 9-3 (grade A*- D) in English and maths.
Assessment will be through a range of practical assignments and theory based on-line examinations
