Course summary

During the course you will study body massage, in depth relevant anatomy and physiology, electrolysis, advanced facial and body electrical treatments, hot stone massage, financial effectiveness of a Business and Indian head massage. You may also study English and Math's alongside this qualification. You may study Math's or English functional skills, as this will help in finding employment. Who is the course for? This course is designed for anyone who has achieved a NVQ level 2 Beauty Therapy or an equivalent Beauty qualification, and wants to gain a higher qualification to enable them to work in the UK and abroad. Study methods Theory lessons are taught by various student centered methods and lectures. You will produce evidence using a range of different methods including assignments, oral questions, practical assessments and written or online exams. Practical's will be demonstrated and students will be expected to work on each other to begin with and to work on clients when deemed ready to be assessed in a realistic work environment. You will need to spend time on independent study while not at college.
