Modern languages can lead to a variety of exciting careers such as translating, interpreting, finance, law, sales and marketing, engineering, tourism, leisure, public sector, United Nations and European Union, media, linguistics and teaching (primary and secondary). Additionally, the knowledge of a foreign language can allow you to pursue any career at an international level. Your course will help you expand upon your knowledge of Spanish culture and develop your linguistic skills. You will focus on a range of historical and contemporary topics which will further develop your understanding of Spain and Latin American countries. You will also study Spanish literature and film, which will encourage you to keep up to date with current affairs.
