Course summary

This course is equivalent to an A Level and is taken together with two other A Level subjects. This course is aimed at students who have a real passion for sport and are looking to follow a career within the sports industry. BTEC Sport allows you to study the principles of anatomy, physiology and fitness as well as the psychological aspects an athlete needs to consider. You will gain well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of the sports industry. This course is ideal for those who wish to pursue interests in fitness instructing, coaching or progress on to higher education to undertake a sports related degree course.
