Course summary

Whilst on the Health and Social Care Level 3 course, you will develop your numeracy, literacy, vocational and academic skills. Pathway specific Talent Lab options will offer options ranging from first aid courses to talks from professionals in this sector. 100 hours of work experience is a compulsory part of this course and will improve your personal statement for University. Entry requirements

4 GCSE grades 9 - 4 including English or Maths at grade 4 or above or Merit from full time vocational course at Level 2.

How you'll be assessed

This course will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods including: essays, reports, live assessment, individual and group presentations. You will also sit 2 external exams per year in the BTEC programme.
