We study its form and structure in order to discover how humanity has expressed emotions, relationships and stories throughout history and to gain the skills required to manipulate, educate and entertain an audience.
A minimum of seven grade 5s in full course GCSE subjects. No vocational subjects allowed. English Language 5. At least a grade 6 at GCSE
Year 12: Component 1 –Theatre workshop Non-exam assessment: internally assessed, externally moderated 20% of qualification Year 13: Component 2 –Theatre workshop Non-exam assessment: Externally assessed by a visiting examiner 40% of qualification Component 3 – Text in Performance Written Examination: 2 hours 30 minutes 40% of qualification
