Course summary

Why should I study Physics? By studying A Level Physics, you will have the opportunity to explore natural phenomena and to look at theories that explain how the universe works. You will learn about the laws that govern our universe and delve into some of the biggest questions in physics, e.g. where does all the matter in the universe come from? Why does light behave the way it does? A Level Physics includes a wide range of topics from Newton’s laws of motion and quantum physics, to astrophysics, cosmology and medical physics, including many recent developments in fascinating topics, such as particle physics. If you are interested in the dual nature of light, the limits of space, the beginning of time and everything in between this is the subject for you. Physics is more than a subject – it teaches your brain to ask the right questions and think beyond boundaries.
