The BTEC National course in Applied Science course covers the fundamentals of science, working in the science industry, perceptions of science, scientific investigation and practical techniques. You will also study statistics, human physiology and anatomy, disease and infection, human regulation and reproduction, medical physics techniques, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry.. If you study a BTEC Diploma and Extended Diploma course, you are expected to complete all the work required for the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate by the end of Year 12
