Course summary

This course is designed for those wishing to progress into Higher Education courses in the Applied Science sector before entering employment. You will study across all three sciences: Biology, Chemistry and Physics covering topics including: fundamental chemical and physical principals, structure and function of cells, physiology and disease, electromagnetic waves and satellite communication amongst many other fascinating areas of cutting edge science. You will also be guided through your own scientific research project. On completion you can progress onto further study or employment with training. Former students have gone to well respected universities such as UCL, King’s College London, Queen Mary, and Sussex to study a wide variety of medical and pharmacy related degrees.

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and maths, or a related Level 2 vocational qualification. Mature applicants may be considered on relevant experience without having the required entry requirements. However, an interview will always be required.
