This course gives a broad introduction to the Sectors of Health & Social Care, allowing students to study a range of topics such as human growth and development through the life stages, the nature of work within health and social care settings the goals of this type of work and the challenges. Students will consider the diverse needs of individuals receiving care, analysing their illness, disability or their stage of education, and how that can affect the type of care they need and receive. Students will then also study the psychological approaches to treating individuals within the health and social care system. Units You will complete 4 units, 2 are externally assessed, and 2 are assignments. Unit 1: Human Life span development- exam Unit 2: Working in Health & Social Care-exam Unit 5: Meeting Individual Care needs-assignment
