Three two hour papers: Paper 1 ‐ UK Government and Politics Paper 2 ‐ Government and Politics of the USA and Comparative Politics (comparing the UK and US systems) Paper 3 ‐ Political Ideas All three papers have the same structure with: Three 9 mark questions requiring a three paragraph answer for each. An extract question worth 25 marks. An essay question chosen from a choice of two, worth 25 marks.
