A Level Photography will help you develop a sense of what makes an effective image and understand the historical development of the photograph, its impact on society and our understanding of ourselves. You will research and write coherent analyses, demonstrating consideration and imagination in your own work.
- Grade 5 or above in GCSE English Language - Grade 5 or above in GCSE Art and Design, or a related subject* - Three further GCSEs at grade 4 or above If you wish to study 4 A Levels, you will need 7 GCSEs at grade 7 or above, including two at grade 8. *If you did not study GCSE Art and Design, or a related subject, we will assess your suitability based on a portfolio of work. Assessment takes place regularly on the course to provide feedback to develop your visual artwork and written components. The course contains two assessed component - a personal investigation portfolio and an externally set assignment.
