The BTEC Nationals qualification will give you the essential knowledge, understanding and skills to allow you to progress into a specific area of work which will incorporate the use of IT, e.g. systems networking and product development or into a specific job such as IT Product Developer, Computer Games Designer and Systems Analyst. The BTEC National Certificate in IT is equivalent to a GCE AS Level and the Extended Certificate which is the full BTEC course is equivalent to a GCE A2 Level qualification.
