Year 1 & 2: Students can explore a wide variety of media (drawing, painting, etching, printing, digital and textiles) in workshops designed to encourage pupils to experiment and refine their expertise. We aim to arrange visits with professional artists or visits to galleries to give students a broader understanding of the subject. PROGRESSION ROUTES: The Arts is the 3rd largest industry in the UK and this A Level will give you the opportunity to advance into a creative based career such as graphic design, textile design, illustration, web design, interior design, jewelry design, sculpture, or fine art. Our students have gone on to study degrees in Art at top universities and have also studied a wide range of academic subjects at leading universities including Law.
