Applied Maths Mechanical Units: Modelling in Mechanics, Constant Acceleration, Forces and Motion Variable Acceleration, Moments, Forces and Friction, Projectiles, Applications of Forces, Further Kinematics Applied Maths Statistical Units: Data Location, Measures of Location and Spread, Representations of Data, Correlation, Probability, Mutually Exclusive and independent Events, Statistical Distributions, Hypothesis Testing, Regression, Correlation, Conditional Probability, The Normal Distribution. In Maths and Science subjects, grade 6 applicants must be endorsed by the Head of Department. Students will be expected to undertake preparatory work over the summer for all subjects. Students will complete entrances tests for Maths and Sciences.
