A-Level Government & Politics will appeal to you if you have a genuine interest in current affairs and the political world which surrounds us. You will be expected to take an active interest in the news and draw on this within your work. You must also have strong analytical and evaluative skills, where your opinion is expressed clearly. How you'll be assessed

Three examinations papers. Each is worth 33.3% of the final result and are 2 hours each. Paper 1: Government and Politics in the UK Paper 2: The Government and Politics of the USA and Comparative Politics. Paper 3: Political Ideas
