Course summary

The Geography course is split into two; 50% human geography and 50% physical geography. The human geography units are: - Global governance and global systems - Changing places - Contemporary Urban Environments The physical geography units are: - Water and Carbon Cycles - Hazards - Coastal Systems and Landscapes - During the course students must also complete an NEA on an independent research topic of their choice. This will include a minimum of five days of fieldwork which will take place in the form of a trip (location yet to be decided).

Entry requirements

- Grade 6 in GCSE Geography. - A-Level Geography includes a large amount of maths and statistical skills, so a good level of confidence in this is required. - Grade 5 or above in English and Maths, plus three other subjects.
