Students applying to the 6th Form without GCSEs but with an equivalent qualification must provide confirmation from their most recent educational establishment of courses studied, levels of attainment and equivalent grades with reference to GCSE grades 9 to 1. Additional Requirements: Students must achieve Grade 6-6 in combined Science GCSE or a Grade 6 in Biology GCSE.
A-Level students will sit three papers in the summer examination season after the two-year period of course delivery. Each paper can assess any content in modules 1 to 5 outlined above. Paper 1 will contribute 41%, paper 2 contributes 37% and paper 3 contributes 22% of the marks to the final grade. Practical skills are assessed in paper 3 and by the completion of a minimum of 12 practical activities.
