Course summary

Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Mathematics) is a qualification designed for students who have achieved a grade 4 or above at GCSE. It helps to develop students’ mathematical skills and thinking and supports courses such as: A Level Psychology, Sciences and Geography as well as technical and vocational qualifications. This course will allow pupils to build on their mathematical skills using more advanced methods and techniques. It has been developed with the support of employers, universities and professional bodies to ensure that it offers pupils the relevant knowledge and skills to progress to further study and the world of work.
