Course summary
Geography combines well with almost all other subjects. Geographers will develop an excellent locational knowledge, high-level analytical skills, will be able to solve problems associated with government and management, and gain a genuine in-depth awareness of modern issues and debates. CAREER PATHWAYS: In a world that increasingly values who can work across the physical and social sciences, it is easy to see why Geography is so popular. Geographers are eminently employable as they have lots of transferable skills that employers look for. Typical careers in Geography include; town planning, conservation officer, GIS Officer, landscape architect, environmental consultant, teacher/lecturer, market researcher, and many more. Geographers are also employed in a wide range of other sectors such as journalism, law, finance, transport, government, business and marketing.
