There is a world out there just bursting with invention and opportunities and most of which is driven by computer and communications technologies. The first part of your course will explore the fundamentals of computer science. This is where you learn how programming is used in the real world of work. This course will encourage you to solve problems using your programming and algorithmic thinking skills. CAREER PATHWAYS: The career opportunities are vast and always expanding due to the constantly evolving technology sector. People who are interested in this subject area choose careers which involve programming where they can showcase their logical and problem solving skills. Typical careers in this subject area include; computer game development, computer engineering, computer graphic design, mobile application development, computer forensics, robotics engineering, software development and programming.
