5 GCSE at grades 9-4 (A-C) including maths at grade 5 or above and English. Functional Skills English is accepted Level 2. Alternatively, you will have a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering at Merit grade, along with the English and Maths at the required levels.
BTEC Nationals are assessed using a combination of internal assessments, which are set and marked by teachers, and external assessments which are set and marked by Pearson: 1. Mandatory units have a combination of internal and external assessments. 2. All optional units are internally assessed.
