This course is designed for students who want to access university and have been away from studying for some time. It is the equivalent of three A Levels, completed in 9 months, so it is a very intensive programme. All students will study units in Social Science, Biology, Health and Skills for Learning.
Applicants are required to have a Grade 4 or above in GCSE maths and English/English Language. Selection is on the basis of an interview and completing an initial assessment. You should have substantial work experience in an area related to your chosen career. If you would like help with your numeracy and language skills before starting an Access to HE Diploma, please enquire about our adult GCSE programmes.
The course is assessed via a combination of coursework and controlled examinations and upon successful completion will allow you to enter higher education.
