You should have a genuine interest and love of Biology from GCSE or your own interests in the subject area. Alongside this, students must also have at least a grade 7,7 in Combined Science GCSE. You may also find it helpful to study other A levels in Sciences, Sport and Maths to support their understanding in Biology. Must have a grade 7+ average in GCSEs. Must have a grade 7 in relevant GCSE subject.
How is the course assessed? A2 exams are assessed at the end of Y13: 2 x 2hr 15 papers, 1 x 1hr30 paper Practical endorsement in biology: Teacher assessed throughout the 2 year course during practical lessons
