"Global issues including tectonic hazards, coasts, globalisation, energy security, water supply, superpowers and development will be explored in this subject. You will analyse the interactions between people and their environments. This subject gives you the opportunity to develop your research and data analysis skills based on the completion of an Individual Investigation fieldwork task. KEY TOPICS Physical Geography: Tectonic hazards, coastal systems, water and energy security Human Geography: Globalisation, Regenerating places, superpowers and development YOU WILL Develop your fieldwork research skills Take part in an individual investigation fieldwork assessed task Have the opportunity to go on a residential field trip in the spring term"
