How you'll be assessed

You are provided with the following articles: Article 1: Carbon capture can drive a 21st century revival of British industry Article 2: Carbon capture and storage: will it ever work? Article 3: The grand challenges in carbon capture, utilization, and storage - You need to become familiar with the articles and gain an understanding of the scientific issue discussed in the articles so that you are able to interpret, analyse and evaluate the articles in preparation for Part B. - Your notes should only include information about scientific terminology, quantities and concepts used in the articles and a summary of the scientific issue discussed. - You should spend up to a maximum of six hours to complete your preparatory notes. You may take up to four sides of A4 notes into the supervised assessment.
