Course summary
Year 12 Unit 1: Representation In this unit you will study a range of media from different sectors and examine how different media representations are constructed by media producers to create meaning, messages and values. Unit 10: Film Production In this unit you will learn the process of producing a short narrative film or film extract that uses generic conventions. Year 13 Unit 4: Pre-production Portfolio In this unit you will to plan and carry out essential pre-production work that takes place as part of a creative media production. Unit 10: Responding to a Commission In this unit you will learn the commissioning process and how media producers respond to clients by generating ideas using a range of skills.
