Level 3 BTEC course are assessed across four units: two extrenally-assessed examinations Two internally-assessed coursework tasks. An overall grade is awarded based on points gained across all units, although the units are not all weighted equally. An overall grade is awarded at either Pass, Merit, Distinction, or Distinction*.
