Why Study the National Extended Certificate in Business? The National Extended Certificate in Business is a qualification which allows you to gain a thorough understanding of activities relating to business operations and organization. It is equivalent to one A Level. What Topics Will I Study? Four modules of which three are compulsory and one is an optional unit. An Example of the Type of Work Involved: For ‘Developing a Marketing Campaign ‘ unit, the learners will be provided with a case study two weeks before a supervised assessment period in order to carry out research. The supervised assessment period is a maximum of three hours and can be arranged over a number of sessions in a period timetabled by external examination body and produced as a written submission.
