At least eight GCSEs grades 9-4 Either Grades 6,6 in GCSE Combined Science OR Grade 6 in GCSE Biology. All students must also have achieved a minimum of a GCSE Grade 5 in English Language OR English Literature AND GCSE Grade 6 in Mathematics. (A diagnostic test will be taken in the first 2 weeks for which a minimum of an E Grade must be achieved to continue with the A Level course).
Paper 1: Biological processes = 100 marks (37% of overall total) Paper 2:Biological diversity = 100 marks (37% of overall total) Paper 3: Unified Biology = 70 marks (26%of overall total).
