Four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and maths or Functional or Key Skills awards at Level 2 or BTEC Level 2 Diploma (minimum Merit grade achieved) International students need to have IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (min 5.0 in Reading and Writing). Successful completion of internal assessment is also required Good attendance and punctuality on previous courses either at the college or school
Assessment is an integral part of the overall learning process and our student-centered approach aims to promote and enhance creativity, analytical thinking, research skills and effective communication skills. You will be assessed through project work, written assignments, in class tests, presentations and observations. Each unit is graded Pass, Merit or Distinction and you will receive an overall grade for the qualification. Some mandatory units will be assessed by external exams.
