Course Outline: The duration of the course is either one year to gain an AS award or two years for the full A level qualification. Most examinations are open book and students will be allowed to take in blank copies of the text. Skills: Study of this subject encourages you to extend your interests in both language and literature. Students have the chance to develop as confident and reflective readers and writers.
