This advanced practical and academic course is for people who wish to pursue a career in health sciences and related professions. A career in healthcare is rewarding and filled with amazing opportunities to progress. It's also one of the UK's most varied, fastest growing and largest employment sectors. Study units include: •human lifespan development •working in health and social care •anatomy and physiology for health and social care •enquires into current research in health and social care •work experience in health and social care •promoting public health The course consists of 13 units of which 4 units are externally assessed (2 exams in year 1 and 2 exams in year 2). This qualification is equivalent to 3 x A Levels.
