Who is the course for? This course is suitable for students who have an interest in learning the theory of Computer Science and programming. What can it lead to? Computer Science at A Level can lead to a number of different higher education courses and apprenticeships. What will I Study? Programming in Java and Python; Databases; Data Representation; Computational Thinking; Computer Architecture; Boolean Algebra and Logic; Communications/Networking; Big Data. How will I be taught? Teaching will be in the form of whole class teaching and undertaking programming tasks. Regular homework will be set.
