Students will select and apply a range of linguistic methods to communicate knowledge, develop a range of critical thinking skills, analyse and evaluate the influence ofcontextual factors for spoken and written language. This course provides a foundation for the study of English Language, Linguistics or English Studies in Higher Education. This course is also suitable for students who are considering studying Law, Business, Drama and Theatre Studies.
