Paper 2: Pure Mathematics and Statistics - 100 marks - 2 hours - 36.4% • Section A: Shorter questions with minimal reading and interpretation. • Section B: Longer questions and more problem solving. • Some questions will be set on the pre-release data set Paper 3: Pure Mathematics and Comprehension - 75 marks - 2 hours - 27.3% • Section A: 60 marks on the pure core content. • Section B: 15 marks on a previously unseen comprehension passage based on the pure mathematics content of the specification.
