The Level 3 Cambridge Technical course in Media offers a wide range of units to reflect possible future opportunities available with the media sector. It is an ideal foundation for students, providing them with understanding of media through engagement with media products, production processes and technologies. This ‘Tech level’ qualification will give students an opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and skills to help them get an apprenticeship or job, or progress to a higher level qualification at university. Where Does It Lead? The media industry, both within TV and films; journalism. Many students have been successful in securing places at university with their course.

This vocational course comprises 30% written examination and 70% coursework. We offer two options: - The single option (extended certificate). It is equivalent to 1 A level. - The double option (diploma) requires the completion of 12 units and incorporates a wide variety of media topics and skills development. It leads to the equivalent of 2 A levels
