Grade 6/6 in combined GCSE Science or 6+ in GCSE Physics AND grade 7 or above in GCSE Maths.
Paper 1 assesses the content from sections 1 – 5 and 6.1 (periodic motion) Paper 2 assesses the content from sections 6.2 (thermal physics), 7, 8 and assumed knowledge from sections 1 - 6 Paper 3 Section A – practical skills and data analysis.
